BRAND NEW SIN Embark On 'Summer of Rock' Tour, Complete New Video

August 4, 2005

The Syracuse-based hard rock quintet BRAND NEW SIN are currently preparing to embark on the "Summer of Rock" tour next week, which is a three-week trek alongside SUPAGROUP and DOG FACED GODS. The group just completed a national U.S. tour with SCUM OF THE EARTH and SOCIETY 1, their first nationwide trek since 2002, to rave reviews. Their latest video for the track "Black and Blue", shot by acclaimed director Dale Resteghini (THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, HATEBREED),is now in heavy rotation on Fuse TV's "Metal Asylum" and MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball". BRAND NEW SIN recently completed a new video for the track "Days Are Numbered", once again with Resteghini; look for it to make its network debut next month.

Joe Altier (vocals) checks in with the following report: "Hello all. BNS is ready to hit the road again for a three-week East Coast run with SUPAGROUP and DOG FACED GODS and we are extremely excited to get back on the road. We decided to hit our strong markets once again and prepare for what is shaping up to be a huge fall. Our time home has been restful but BNS is ready to do what we do best, play live! I wanna thank 'Headbanger's Ball' and Fuse for spinning the shit out of 'Black and Blue'. I don't think I have much more to say other than buy the disc, come to the show, drink beer and stay tuned for a possible major fall tour announcement."

BRAND NEW SIN completed successful strings of dates alongside MOTÖRHEAD, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY and LIFE OF AGONY earlier this year in support of their critically acclaimed new full-length album "Recipe For Disaster", which is now available. Look for the band to remain on the road consistently through the end of the year.
